WEAVE A REAL PEACE (WARP)
Weave a Real Peace (WARP) serves as a catalyst for improving the quality of life of textile artisans in communities-in-need. We provide information and networking opportunities to individuals and organizations who value the social, cultural, historic, and artistic importance of textiles around the world.

OXLAJUJ B'ATZ'
Oxlajuj B'atz' provides training for more than 300 weavers and artisans from 21 groups throughout various rural areas of Guatemala. This is accomplished by means of workshops, classes, campaigns and community follow-ups. For more information on Oxlajuj B'atz's programs click on the link above.

FAIR TRADE RESOURCE NETWORK

ART WORKSHOPS IN GUATEMALA

THE WEBSITE OF DR. CAROL VENTURA
Dr. Ventura is an Associate Professor of Art and author of many books on textile arts. This is a great site to visit where you can learn about the crafts of Guatemalan Tapestry Crochet and Backstrap Weaving which are featured in most of our products.

MAYA EXPEDITIONS
Nominated by Conde Nast Traveler as one of the top 20 eco-outfitters of the world. Check out this website to learn more about their eco-tours featuring Guatemalan Culture, archaeological trekking, whitewater rafting, kayaking, caving, volcanoes more.

MARILYN ANDERSON ~ PRO ARTE MAYA
The work of Marilyn Anderson - Images and Publications about Maya Arts and Crafts/Pro Arte Maya, showcases her Mayan themed Note Cards, Prints, and wonderful coloring books, sold both in Guatemala and the US.

LAKE ATITLAN WEBSITE
A very informative site filled a great deal information about Guatemala and the Lake Atitlan area of the central highlands. A good site to visit if you are planning a trip to Guatemala and plan to visit Panajachel and the other villages which border this magnificent lake.

HEART FOR NATIONS / SCHOLORSHIP PROGRAMS
Formed in 2001 by Michelle and John White, HEART for the Nations is a not-for-profit ministry helping the poor in Central and South America. They raise funds for water filter distribution to the Mayas and support Maya children with education scholarships. They are currently working with Maya Traditions to fund scholorships.
